Sony Semiconductor Solutions(“SSS”) participated in [ National Retail Federation (NRF) 2023: Retail's Big Show] for the first time, the leading trade fair and conference for Retails, held in New York, US from 15 to 17 January. AITRIOS™, an edge AI sensing platform that accelerates the efficiency of solution development and deployment using Edge AI, was exhibited, and we also introduced several solutions developed by partners using AITRIOS.
SSS contents of exhibition：Introduction of AITRIOS platform concept and solutions
These demonstrations show how the AITRIOS can be used, actual use cases and solutions would involve our partners such as AI Developer, Application Developer, and System Integrators/Aggregators using ATIRIOS platform and compatible HW.
Shelf monitoring Demo
SSS put a camera in front of the shelf and exhibited a live shelf monitoring demonstration. When the product disappears from the shelf and camera detects the missing product then system give you an alert to notify you of the missing product.
Trajectory Demo
SSS put a camera on the wall of the Sony booth and we exhibited a live trajectory demonstration. This demonstration showed a real-time detecting people when they enter the booth and continuing to track people.
AR solution Demo
SSS demonstrated a highly immersive AR experience demonstration with a system that instantly detects self-location information and superimposes AR contents by holding the terminal over the space on the booth.
